Jawad brings 20+ years of B2B technology scaling experience. He regularly serves as Interim CRO for PE-backed companies and leads GTM transformations across multiple private equity portfolio companies. Jawad is also serving as a Founder & Managing Partner of Nexly 360, PE backed AI-first value creation platform. 

Previously, Jawad held senior commercial leadership roles at Oracle’s Opower (Head of EMEA Sales & Customer Success), NTT Data’ Star (Global Head of FinTech), and Accenture, Financial Services. He holds an MBA from University of Oxford.

Birte Steen

Birte Steen brings over 20 years of experience as a Sales leader in high-growth B2B SaaS companies. She was among the first hires in Meltwater in 2004 and helped scale the company from 10-1500 people with 53 offices in 27 countries.

She has led multiple successful scale-up journeys, consistently ranked as a top-performing sales executive, and developed sales methodologies that were adopted globally. Birte has a strong track record in hiring and developing top commercial talent, driving expansion revenue, and leading post-merger integrations.

Today, Birte is the Founder and CEO of Rock Consulting, advising B2B companies on how to scale revenue efficiently. She also serves as a Senior Go-To-Market Advisor to Verdane Elevate, supporting portfolio companies in building high-performing, scalable GTM engines. She has most recently been fractional CRO in Verified and Centra.

Education: Master of Science in Business Administration from Gothenburg School of Economics and Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts from California Lutheran University.

Daniel Hansen

Daniel joined Elevate in January 2020. Daniel holds the overall responsibility of go-to-market at Verdane Elevate, and he is leading the GTM team.  

He is an experienced commercial and business professional with a strong C-level background from recognised tech scale-up companies such as QuestBack and Admincontrol.  

Daniel has been part of hundreds of GTM projects, working closely with most of the Verdane portfolio companies, helping them on their way to reach their full potential with sharp value creation plans and GTM tactics.  

Education: Daniel holds a MSc. in Strategy and Management from NHH, the Norwegian School of Economics.

Jennifer Montague

Jennifer Montague joined Verdane’s Elevate team as Senior Director of GTM in January 2025, where she advises portfolio companies on go-to-market strategy with a focus on marketing, positioning, commercial alignment and revenue acceleration. As part of her role, she also explores how AI can be practically applied to enhance GTM performance.

Jennifer brings 10+ years of GTM and marketing leadership experience, including at FIFA and later scaling growth at B2B SaaS companies like Planday, Dixa, and Onomondo. In 2023, she was named Nordic Women in Tech’s Digital Leader of the Year, is a published author, podcast host and regular speaker at industry events including SaaSiest, SaaStr, TechBBQ, and Inbound.

Jennifer has an international background, having lived in the USA, UK, Switzerland and is currently in Denmark. She holds an MA (Hons) in Applied Research and Consultancy from Lancaster University, UK, and a double major BA (Hons) in both Communications and Sociology from Boston College, USA.

Joe joined Elevate, Verdane’s team of in-house operational experts, in June 2024. Focusing primarily on data and AI strategy, Joe supports portfolio companies in accelerating their business goals with data and building a data-informed maturity that will allow them to scale and succeed in the long-term.

Prior to Verdane, Joe worked as a management consultant in London and Sweden, specialising in data & analytics for private equity and their portfolios. He has experience supporting finance & banking, pharmaceutical, retail and SaaS industries at both scale-up and large scale.

Education: Joe holds a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol, UK. He holds an MBA from University of Oxford.

Ville Polvinen

Ville joined Verdane’s Elevate in January 2022 and has doubled down on AI for GTM the past couple of years. Prior to joining Verdane he was on the Finnish management team of the digital agency Knowit Experience.

With a commercial point of view, Ville combines e-commerce, digital marketing and customer experience expertise to drive both top and bottom-line growth for Verdane’s portfolio companies.

Ville combines operational and consulting experience, having launched and eventually managed the Finnish operations of the Nordic e-commerce group Komplett.

Ville holds a M.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration from Aalto University School of Business, and a CEMS Master’s in International Management from Aalto University & Stockholm School of Economics.

Max has spent more than 10 years with various aspects of marketing with experience from Precis Digital, EQT and Accenture prior to Verdane.
